Wound Care Education Campaign
The cost of wound care in the UK is estimated at around £5.3bn with 4.5% of the population living with a wound at any one time. ActivHeal is addressing some of these challenges with their multi-tiered education platform, the ActivHeal Academy which is aimed at clinicians of all levels and provides access to online and printed training material, mentoring and face to face training sessions.
The Academy launch campaign would cover web, email marketing, social media, events and live training sessions. It was Lumisi’s role to work with ActivHeal to create a cohesive campaign that would reach the target audience and help to build brand engagement and awareness.

The range of nine simplified guides covering everything from basic anatomy to dressing selection and wound control provided the foundation platform of the ActivHeal Academy, available online and in hard copy to support Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of front line staff.
Online Education Platform
The multi-tiered online education platform provides a range of courses from foundation level through to higher tier modules aimed at supporting student nurses and clinicians of all levels. The courses which can be completed at a time and pace to suit the user, include online tests, reflective learning and certificates of completion.

Pocket Guide to Wound Care
The 156-page Pocket Guide to Wound Care is now in its sixth edition and is packed with useful information and small enough to fit in your pocket.
Stand design and installation of an exhibition stand used for Wound Care Today. The stand incorporated an interactive demo zone where delegates could view the Academy online modules and test their knowledge in sample online tests.
ActivHeal Sales Team
The ActivHeal sales team had extensive training ahead of the launch to enable them to confidently showcase the Academy and carry out training sessions.
ActivHeal Academy Training Session
Group and one to one training sessions are available to ActivHeal customers and event delegates.
Tote bags, pens, trolley tokens and even teddies were produced to help grow brand awareness at some of the events.
The targeted email marketing campaign was used to reach existing ActivHeal customers and also made use of the Omnia Med database to reach a wider audience.
Social Media Marketing
A social media campaign was created to target student nurses and other healthcare professionals raising awareness of the current challenges and presenting ActivHeal as a solution. The campaign included regular #WoundcareWednesday tweets which incorporated some of the questions from the online courses so that followers could test their wound care knowledge and promote brand engagement.
